As a handy communicating tool, Messages is one of the most frequently used apps on your iPhone. You can easily send texts, pictures, audio and so on to others over WiFi or cellular data. Now, the newly-released operating system for iOS devices – iOS 11 makes Messages app more capable than ever by adding a series of useful new features to it, such as Messages support Apple Pay, new iMessages effect and Business Chat. In this post, we are going to talk about iOS 11 Business Chat.
New iOS 11 Business Chat function provides a platform for customers to start a business conversation with sellers directly from Messages app on iPhone and iPad. As we know, Facebook Messenger and Twitter DM support already have offered the similar business service for customers. Finally, Apple grabs it in iOS 11.
Although Apple didn’t mention iOS 11 Business Chat at WWDC 2017, we can still know some basic info about it through Apple developer site. From the below screenshot, we can see how Apple introduces it.
In order to enhance this customer business service, Apple says the built-in features in iOS 11 such as Apple Pay and Calendar integration are applied to Business Chat. In this way, customers can finish the whole purchase progress without the need to exit chat.
I believe iOS 11 Business Chat feature will gain many likes from Apple users, especially the users who love making purchases directly on iPhone and iPad. How do you feel about it? Please feel free to share your opinions in comment section.
