What’s the main differences between iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone X?
1. iPhone 8 vs iPhone X: Display
iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will still use the current LCD Retina HD display technology. But iPhone X comes with all new Super Retina OLED. And the Super Retina display will improve more on Color accuracy, wide color support and brightness.
2. iPhone 8 vs iPhone X: Home Button
The new flagship iPhone X removed the Home button for a larger screen, which is 5.8 inch, even larger than the size of iPhone 8 Plus’s screen (5.5 inch). This make iPhone X almost the all screen smartphone. But iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus still has the Home button on the bottom like every iPhone generation before them.

3. iPhone 8 vs iPhone X: Face ID
iPhone X will replace Touch ID with the new Face ID to unlock device, which Apple said is safer than the Touch ID of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. “the Face ID recognizes the user’s face under a variety of conditions, and can’t be fooled by photos, with a 1 in a million chance of mismatch, which compares to 1 in 50 thousands for Touch ID”.
4. iPhone 8 vs iPhone X: Front Camera
, The iPhone X comes with 7MP TrueDepth camera to to support face-detection technique. But iPhone 8 still use the FaceTime HD Camera and this camera can’t support Portrait mode, Portrait lighting and Animoji.
5. iPhone 8 vs iPhone X: The Start Price
The new designed iPhone X is so much more expensive than iPhone 8, 8 Plus and Previous iPhone. The iPhone X price starts from $999 almost $1000 dollars. But the iPhone 8 starts from $699.
Additionally, iPhone X has no Gold version, and has a different size from iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
